One Billion.

Command Prompt

Updated: Aug 12, 2019

“Cupertino, California July 27, 2016 – At an employee meeting in Cupertino this morning, CEO Tim Cook announced that Apple recently sold the billionth iPhone.”

That’s pretty remarkable for a product line that’s only been in existence for nine years. Further, according to rough, back-of-a-napkin math Apple has about 110 million Mac sales under it’s belt. Ever.

It’s easy to see why Apple is evolving into more of a services and mobility company, and why technologies like profile management and concerns about security and transparency are moving to the forefront of what the company offers and where it’s going.
